Diocesan Mission project – Ministry of Love in Action
Location: CLANTON CHAPEL, United Methodist Church, Dulac, Louisiana
Task: Renovating the Sanctuary and Sunday School classrooms in partnership with the Houma tribal volunteers
When: March 22, Wednesday – travel
March 23, Thursday – March 25, Saturday: renovation work during the day and Fellowship with the Church community in the evening.
Stay: Either at the Church parsonage or at Saffron Inn in Houma, Louisiana
To volunteer you need to be at least 18 years old to participate in the mission project.
About 10 -12 Volunteers are expected to participate in the program.
This is an opportunity to engage in witnessing in the community, sharing faith and culture, and learning more about Native Americans and their struggles.
