Vicar’s Message
Dear Beloved in Christ,
“If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: everything old has passed away; everything has become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
As God continually renews His creation, we too are called to experience transformation. The changing seasons, from the vibrant summer to the crisp autumn, remind us of this ongoing process. Just as nature sheds its old leaves to prepare for new growth, we must also embrace a spiritual renewal. This process, though challenging, leads to a deeper connection with Christ.
The recent Sabha Prathinidhi Mandalam in Thiruvalla, where the decision was made to elect four more Bishops, is a significant step for our Church. Let us pray that God guides this process and appoints individuals who are truly called to serve His people.
The upcoming Diocesan Sevika Sanghom Conference in Dallas will be an important gathering. We are grateful for the presence of our Metropolitan Thirumeni, whose visit will undoubtedly be a source of inspiration and blessing for the Diocese.
Our Parish Convention, with Dr. Thomas George as the keynote speaker, promises to be a meaningful event. The theme, "Unchanging Faith in a Changing World," is particularly relevant today. I encourage all to attend in person, but for those unable to do so, live streaming will be available.
As we approach the end of the fiscal year, I kindly request that all outstanding financial obligations to the Parish be settled promptly. Thank you for your continued prayerful support and generosity.
May God bless you all.
Yours in Christ,
October 3
