India mission serves to connect the people especially youth in the diocese to the mission fields in India.

Vision: To create mission enthusiasm in the youths by helping them to have firsthand experience of the mission work of the Mar Thoma Church in India.

The Design: The Committee annually organizes mission visits of ten days duration. The details of the visit are announced in the parishes to invite volunteers. Part of the expense is shared by the mission board to reduce the financial burden of the volunteers

The Benefit: The participants get a chance to feel the life of the Indian villages, to participate in the worship and Holy Communion Services, of the Christian communities in the villages watch closely the life of the evangelists, understand the method of mission works, experience the changes in the lives of the people as result of the mission and know the challenges in the Indian villages. The mission exposure helps them to have a more serious view about life.
